General
1. What is the Agoda Rewards Program and how does it work?
The Agoda Rewards Program makes it easy for you to earn Rewards Points for reservations made through Agoda Travel Network sites. With 33,000 hotels in more than 100 countries worldwide, the Agoda Rewards Program offers you a great selection of hotels where you can redeem your Rewards Points.

Membership
2. How do I become a member of Agoda Rewards?
Agoda Rewards membership is free. Simply submit a reservation request and you'll automatically be registered as a member of Agoda Rewards, or simply sign up at rewards.agoda.com. An Agoda Rewards member ID and password will be sent to your e-mail address, so you can access your account and enjoy the benefits of Agoda Rewards.

3. What are the membership levels of the Agoda Rewards?
Agoda Rewards offers two membership levels: Premier and Elite 75.

Premier Members
All new members are automatically assigned Premier Membership. For every dollar you spend, 25 points are credited to your account. Points may be redeemed for cash savings on regular bookings or can be redeemed for Members Only Special Offers, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Elite 75 Members
Earn more than 75,000 points in a single calendar year and you'll become an Elite 75 Member. This entitles you to receive 31.25 points for every dollar you book, as well as allowing you to redeem points on a more flexible scale. If Rewards Points are redeemed through the year, members must earn sufficient points to have an available balance of at least 75,000 points before December 31 in order to maintain Elite 75 status. If insufficient points are available, your membership status will revert to Premier Member until you have an available balance of at least 75,000 points.

4. What if I made my booking prior to the launch of Agoda Rewards?
(Launch Date: 20 July 2004)

Any bookings made prior to the launch of the Agoda Rewards Program are not eligible for membership or Rewards Points.

Earning Points
5. How can I earn points and how many points do I earn for each booking?
a) Points are earned based on the cash value charged to your credit card for every completed reservation made through participating Agoda Travel Network sites. Every dollar you spend earns 25 Rewards Points. For example, if you make a booking worth US$1,000 and the full amount is charged to your credit card you receive 25,000 points on the transaction. Elite 75 Members earn a bonus of 25% additional points.Every dollar earns 31.25 points.

b) Bookings made on behalf of friends or family will earn Rewards Points only if the last name of any one guest matches the account member’s last name. Bookings where the last name of any one guest does not match the member’s last name will not appear in the member’s booking history in their account.

c) If you refer family, friends or co-workers to Agoda Rewards, you'll earn 100 Rewards Points for each of the first three referrals.

d) Once you've checked out of your hotel, you'll be asked to provide feedback on your stay. Each hotel review is worth 500 Rewards Points.

6. What are double points?
All bookings for hotels with the double points logo will earn you twice the amount of points you would normally earn. For example, if you make a booking worth US$1,000 and the full amount is charged to your credit card, you receive 50,000 points on the transaction (rather than 25,000 points). Elite 75 Members earn an additional 25% Bonus Points (62,500 points). Earn double points right now with any booking at the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong.

7. How do I check my points balance?
You need to log in to your account at http://rewards.agoda.com and click on the 'Points & Transactions' tab to see details of your previous transactions. Your available points balance will be displayed on this page.

8. How long does it take before my Agoda Rewards Points are credited to my account?
Rewards Points are credited to your account 30 days after your departure date from the hotel. For more details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

9. How do I get credit for a missing transaction?
Contact our Rewards Department or send us an inquiry via e-mail with your Member ID, the relevant Booking ID and reservation details. Once we've verified the transaction, we will process an adjustment to your account.

10. How long are my Rewards Points valid?
All Agoda Rewards Points accrued in a calendar year remain valid until the 31st of December of the 3rd calendar year. Expired points cannot be reinstated and will be deleted from your account.Points earned in February 2005, for example, will expire on December 31, 2007

11. Can I buy points?
Agoda Rewards Points cannot be bought.

12. Do I earn Agoda Rewards Points for bookings under the Low Rate Guarantee policy?
Agoda Rewards Points will not be given to bookings that are confirmed under the Low Rate Guarantee policy. For more information on Low Rate Guarantee, please refer to our Policies.

Redeeming Points
13. What is the minimum number of points I can redeem and what is a Standard Award?
The minimum redemption level is 5,000 points for all members. Premier Members can redeem Rewards Points on any standard hotel reservation made through participating Agoda Travel Network sites according to the redemption scale below:

Point values cannot be combined when making a standard hotel reservation. Special Offer promotions may use a variable scale for point redemption and these will be independent of the Standard Award Levels.

Elite 75 Members have a more flexible policy with 35 redemption levels available.

14. How do I redeem my Agoda Rewards points?
To redeem points for a booking, please login to your account on the second step of the booking form (Customer Details)– the login link is at the bottom right of the page.

15. How do I know which hotels are available for redemption?
You can redeem your points at any hotel we offer (the only exception to this is the Oriental Hotel Bangkok, as this hotel requires guests to pay directly at the hotel).

16. I have chosen the wrong redemption option. Can I redeem a different Award Level?
Yes, you can redeem a different Award Level, provided we have not yet authorized your credit card for payment.

17. I haven't redeemed points on the booking form. Do I still have the option to redeem?
Yes, you can still redeem your points, provided we have not yet authorized your credit card for payment.

18. Can I redeem my points for friends and family?
Points can be redeemed for friends or family only when the last name of any one guest matches the account member’s last name.

Transferring Points
19. Are my Rewards Points transferable?
Points are generally not transferable. If you have used your Credit Card to pay for bookings through a member not under your name, you can transfer points according to the amount that has been charged to your Credit Card to your account only with permission from the owner of the account in which the booking has been made.

The other exception for points transfer is for accounts registered under the same name, where a duplicate account has been created in error. In this case, the two accounts will be merged.

20. How do I transfer the points between accounts?
If you are transferring points from another member’s account to your own account because you have used your Credit Card to pay for part of a booking, you must ask the account owner to e-mail rewards@agoda.comto grant permission. You will receive points according to the amount that has been charged to your Credit Card.

If you are transferring points between accounts registered under the same name, you must provide us with the proof that you are the owner of both accounts, which means registered names, contact details, and Credit Card details in both accounts must be the same. To request an account merge and transfer of points to an existing account and to terminate the new duplicate account, e-mail rewards@agoda.com.

Special Offers :

21. What are Members Only Special Offers?
Special Offers are provided exclusively to members of Agoda Rewards. A limited number of Special Offers are available at selected hotels where members can redeem points for free stays. No cash transactions or credit card charges are applicable to the Special Offers.

The Members Only Special Offers are updated monthly and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Members will be informed of these offers through monthly Special Offers newsletters. Remember, if you miss out on the Special Offers you can always save money by redeeming points on our hotels.

22. I don't have enough points for the Members Only Special Offers. Can I buy points or use cash for Special Offer packages?
Sorry, we don't allow members to purchase points or use cash to obtain a Special Offer package.

23. I booked a Members Only Special Offer package and would like to extend my stay. What should I do?
If you've booked a Special Offer package and would like to extend your stay you will need to contact our Customer Service Center to arrange this. They can help process an additional reservation in your name and avoid any confusion that may arise.

24. How many Members Only Special Offer packages can I book and can I book a Special Offer package for my friends and family?
There is no limit to the number of Special Offer packages you can book, subject to availability. However, the check-in dates selected cannot overlap. Special Offer packages cannot be booked on behalf of friends and family.

25. Are my points refundable if I cancel a Members Only Special Offer reservation?
No, as the Special Offers are provided exclusively to members of Agoda Rewards and there is a limited availability, all Special Offer packages are non-refundable.

Troubleshooting :

26. Why is my credit card not being accepted?
Please check that you have entered the correct credit card number. If you have used the correct details and are still having problems, please contact our Customer Service Center for assistance.

27. I have entered the password sent in the e-mail registered with the Agoda Rewards Program, and it gives me the error message: "The information that you have entered is invalid.” What am I doing wrong?
Your password is case-sensitive, so please check to ensure that you are entering the password correctly. If you have used the correct details and are still having problems, please contact our Customer Service Center for assistance. Alternatively you can request password retrieval by using the 'Forgot your password?' link.

28. What if I did not receive my Member ID and password after making a booking?
If you do not receive your Member ID and password after completing the booking process, please send us the details of your Booking ID via e-mail to rewards@agoda.com. We will retrieve the information and forward the details to the e-mail address we have on file.

29. Why isn't my hotel review posted on the website?
All hotel reviews are screened by editors to ensure the content does not contain abusive or offensive language before being posted on our website. The editorial review normally takes no longer than 7 days. Any reviews that are deemed offensive and not suitable for publication will not be posted on the website.
